The 2020 Shanghai Book Fair kicked off at the Shanghai Exhibition Center on Aug 12. East China's Zhejiang province was designated as the only "guest province of honor" at this year's fair.

Measuring 440 square meters, the exhibition booth for the Zhejiang delegation is situated in the center of the venue. The delegation consists of 17 book publishers, a number of digital book publishers and private-owned characteristic bookstores that operate online and offline.

The Zhejiang delegation has brought to the fair nearly 3,000 kinds of books, mostly published over the past two years, and 300 kinds of creative culture products that showcase the province's culture industry to Shanghai readers.

During the book fair, which will last until Aug 18, the Zhejiang delegation will host about 50 activities, including new book releases, seminars, readers' gatherings, and intellectual lectures.
