(ezhejiang.gov.cn) Updated : 2020-09-17

Authorities in Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui have jointly published a document to push forward the mutual recognition of electronic licenses and certificates throughout the Yangtze River Delta (consisting of the aforementioned places) on Sept 12.

The government document lays out a plan for cooperation between Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui provinces and Shanghai municipality, which includes publishing a list of the latest electronic licenses and certificates to be mutually recognized, establishing a uniform set of production standards and application scenarios for certificates, ensuring the complete, accurate recording of updated data on the certificates, and building a treatment mechanism for relevant complaints.

Due to differences in their economic situations and administrative services, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui have different ways of managing electronic licenses and certificates. The new document is an attempt to standardize the practices of all parties, setting a good example for other regions in China looking to integrate their administrative procedures.
