The National Commission of Development and Reform, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and five other related government departments jointly published a list of 100 new national-level demonstration zones for the integrated development of rural industries.

Four of the zones were located in Zhejiang province in the county-level cities of Cixi and Yiwu, Quzhou's Qujiang district, and Jinyun county, respectively. Their main industries include agricultural equipment manufacturing, food processing, cultural and creative products, tourism, elderly care, and recuperation.
