Quzhou National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Quzhou high-tech zone) in Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, ranked 14th among the top 30 chemical industry parks in China, local media reported on Oct 20.

The list was published at the recent China Chemical Industry Park and Industrial Development Forum 2020 held in Zhangzhou, Fujian province.

The listed chemical industry parks stood out from other chemical industry parks in China in terms of industrial economy, infrastructure, natural environment, safety emergency management, and park management.

In recent years, Quzhou high-tech zone has been working to create a cyclic development model and intelligent park.

At present, three complete industrial chains – fluorine material, organic silicon, inorganic silicon – have taken shape in the zone, which also houses the most complete fluorine and silicon products in China.

In 2019, the sales revenue of petrochemicals in the zone totaled 36.19 billion yuan ($5.41 billion), and total profits stood at 2.14 billion yuan.
