The 14th Hangzhou Cultural & Creative Industry Expo came to an end on Nov 1, with the offline edition attracting over 60,000 visitors and the online expo garnering 930 million page views, local media reported.

Some 4,000 cultural enterprises from 60 countries and regions attended the online and offline expos, a year-on-year increase of 60 percent. These enterprises sealed some 2.19 billion yuan ($327 million) in deals and attained financing credit of 17 billion yuan.

The four-day event, which showcased cutting-edge designs, precious relics, and diversified cultures from around the world, also featured the launch of several professional reports on Hangzhou's cultural and digital content industry, which indicated that the city – it ranks fourth among Chinese cities in this aspect – has built an industrial climate that boasts high interactivity, appeal and influence.

According to a survey conducted by the organizing committee, the satisfaction rate for exhibitors and visitors reached 98 and 99 percent respectively. Many online viewers also gave a thumbs-up to the event for its high-end cultural products and academic forums.
