A delegation composed of 3,887 enterprises and 8,945 professional buyers from Ningbo is attending the third China International Import Expo (CIIE), which opened on Nov 4 in Shanghai.

The delegation is the largest one from East China's Zhejiang province.

Among the participants is Ningbo Dijia Vida International Trade Co Ltd, which is attending CIIE for the third time both as an exhibitor and buyer. 

Chen Yi, the company's general manager, said that they had brought lollipops from Romania and Bio Fresh-branded products from Bulgaria to the expo. The company became the general agent in China for Bio Fresh – a fair-trade exporter of premium-quality fresh and dried organic fruit – this year.

Attending the expo is an effort from the company to seek further import business growth.

A leading cross-border importer from Ningbo, NingShing Ubay International Trade Co Ltd, sent 40 people to attend CIIE this year. The company has set up a booth covering a total of 108 square meters. 

NingShing Ubay is the general agent for Hot Chicken stir-fried noodles produced by Samyang Foods Co Ltd. The Korean noodles have gained massive popularity in China in recent years.
