Quzhou airport's passengers up 23% during New Year holiday

Data released by Quzhou Airport – in Quzhou city in East China's Zhejiang province – showed a strong performance in terms of passenger volumes during the Jan 1-3 New Year's holiday, according to airport officials.
They said the airport handled 80 departures and 3,746 individual passenger trips during the break -- up 23 percent compared with the same period last year.
Airport officials said Quzhou's outbound passengers mainly flew to Chongqing, Guiyang, Zhuhai and Xi'an -- and the majority visited relatives and took vacations.
In terms of the upcoming Spring Festival travel rush, Quzhou Airport will continue with its efforts to prevent and control the novel coronavirus epidemic, officials added.
