Ma Meizhi, a member of the Zhejiang CPPCC and vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the Quzhou Municipal People's Congress arrived at Hangzhou -- capital of East China's Zhejiang province -- where CPPCC committee members will report for duty, according to local media reports on Jan 25.

The suitcase she carried with her was full of special local products from Quzhou, the prefecture-level city in western Zhejiang. Ma took out a pack of huangjing -- a kind of Traditional Chinese Medicine -- from her luggage. Ma said this TCM can play an important role in promoting rural revitalization and economic development in the mountainous areas of Zhejiang.

Quzhou has the advantage of a vibrant TCM industry and has unlimited potential to help rural revitalization, she said.

"This year, what we are concerned about is empowering rural revitalization with health care and we are also bringing a suggestion to build a rural health care tourism model village," Ma said.
