Zall Group, a company specializing in property and trading services in Wuhan, capital of Central China's Hubei province, has landed in Quzhou city and has reportedly made a big impression there.

Since last September it began building the East China (Quzhou) Digital Economy Demonstration Zone, the Quzhou Living Room and the Yangtze River Youth City (Quzhou) projects in Quzhou, in East China's Zhejiang province, with a total investment of nearly 30 billion yuan ($4.58 billion), according to reports in the local media.

The projects – aiming to extend their influence through east China and connecting the Belt and Road Initiative trade routes – plan to provide an intelligent trading platform and an important support for Quzhou to expand itself as a thoroughfare city between four provinces: Zhejiang, Fujian, Jiangxi and Anhui.

Shang Yuhong, chief executive of the Zall group, said the economic development of Quzhou would benefit. Shang said that Quzhou's location advantages, which are very similar to Wuhan's, will help the city in its development as a key logistics distribution hub.

In late March this year, the first phase of the construction of the Xin'an North East China (Quzhou) Digital Economy Demonstration Zone project – which covers an area of 11.33 hectares – was progressing well. The construction started on Feb 18 and to date 200 million yuan ($30.5 million) has been spent of a total 1.8 billion yuan development budget.
