Tourism in Quzhou to stoke holiday spending

With the spring blooming in its colorful glory, amid the balmy weather in the second half of April, tourists from the city of Quzhou – located in East China's Zhejiang province – who experienced lockdowns and social distancing over the past year, are expected to head out smartly to a variety of domestic destinations during the five-day Labor Day holiday starting on May 1.

So, what are the popular tourist destinations from Quzhou?

Passenger traffic at Quzhou Airport is expected to hit a record high during the May Day holiday this year. Reportedly, during the break, it is expected to handle 11,000 passengers and 100 flights.

The reservation rate of flights with the destinations of Haikou and Sanya cities in China's soft and breezy southernmost Hainan province is as high as 95 percent, while at the same time reservations for Chengdu, Chongqing and Guiyang cities have increased significantly.

In addition, three routes from Quzhou to Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou before the holiday return passenger flow is large.
