In the run-up to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the 2021 Quzhou Cyber Culture Season was launched on May 18 in the Chinese Confucian Museum in Quzhou, the prefecture-level city in China's East Zhejiang province.

Among those attending the launch ceremony were the heads of the cyberspace offices from Xiangtan city in Hunan province, Huangshan city in Anhui province, Shangrao city in Jiangxi province, Nanping city in Fujian province and Jining city in Shandong province. They were joined by national web celebrities and representatives of the social media, among others.

Officials said at the ceremony that combining traditional culture and the practical ways of the new era vividly showcased the characteristic culture of Southern Confucianism and helped people gain an insight into the unique charms of Quzhou.
