The Longyou Economic Development Zone in Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, has built many sharing factories to enable firms to settle in recent years.

"Our company started operating just 10 days after all our equipment was complete," said Sun Xueli, who has moved her company from Kunshan, Jiangsu province to the Longyong Economic Development Zone.

Xu Shengyuan, a general manager of another company in the park, said that the sharing factories have helped them save on factory construction costs, which is significant for startups.

"With the money we saved, we can invest in technological research and development to improve our market competitiveness," said Xu, adding that after two years of rapid development, the output value of their company is expected to reach 50 million yuan ($7.74 million) this year.

Thus far, 16 high-quality incubation projects have settled in the Fumin small and micro businesses park of the Longyou Economic Development Zone.

In addition, the management committee of the Longyou Economic Development Zone issued sharing offices in government buildings.

Cao Dinglong, a general manager of a company in the park, said the offices in the government building helped them communicate with government officials when their projects encountered difficulties, which is especially useful for companies who have just recently started operating in the district.

According to an official of the management committee, 17 companies have already settled in the building, and more than 50 offices will be added after renovation.
