Quzhou to model rural governance in Zhejiang

It is widely said that advanced rural governance is of great importance to the promotion of rural revitalization and the acceleration of agricultural and rural modernization in China's new development era. 

On Sept 6, a public announcement – on the official website of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs – was released and Quzhou city, in East China's Zhejiang province featured. It announced the candidate list for the second batch of national rural governance model towns and villages, according to local media reports.  

Lianhua town in Quzhou's Qujiang district was selected in the second batch of national rural governance model towns. Guanzhuang village, in Kecheng district; Qingquan village, in Jiangshan – a county-level city of Quzhuo; Dongxiang village in Changshan county and Xiayu village in Kaihua county were selected in the second list of national rural governance model villages.
