Quzhou city of East China's Zhejiang province was recently awarded the "2021 model city of high-quality development in China", and Changshan county of Quzhou made the list of "2021 happiest cities (places) in China", according to local media reports on Jan 3.

On Jan 2, it was understood that Quzhou won the "2021 model city of high-quality development in China" award at the 16th China All-round Well-off Forum on Dec 29, 2021.

In recent years, Quzhou implemented a new development concept and adhered to high-quality industrial development. Focusing on six key words of principals – "focus, openness, innovation, green, efficiency, and safety" the local government and enterprises joined hands and made efforts to achieve the highest of qualities for the whole process of industrial development.
