Major projects put Quzhou on fast development track

The prefecture-level city of Quzhou in East China's Zhejiang province is well on its way to boosting the number of major projects under construction at the start of the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25) – and the municipality has also been moving to streamline its governance, according to local officials on Jan 5.

In a bid to boost investment, a launch ceremony of a group of 31 major projects with a total investment of 43.2 billion yuan ($6.78 billion) was held in the city on Jan 5, among which urban organic renewal projects accounted for 10 percent, infrastructure projects accounted for 16 percent, people's livelihood projects accounted for 19 percent, and industrial projects accounted for 55 percent of the sum investment.
