Quzhou attracts tourist hordes during Spring Festival holiday

Official figures showed that Quzhou city – located in East China's Zhejiang province – proved to be a must-see place to visit for hordes of tourists during the Spring Festival holiday, according to local media reports.

As of Feb 6, Quzhou had received 596,000 tourists during the break, yielding tourism income of 610 million yuan ($96 million).  According to statistics, the city's major scenic spots hosted 100,900 tourists, realizing revenue of 3.36 million yuan.

During the Spring Festival holiday, the city's 34 high-grade homestays entertained more than 4,200 tourists, with a total revenue of about 553,000 yuan.
