Buildings, gardens and interior decoration for the first phase of construction on the Luming Academy on Luming Cultural Street in Quzhou, East China’s Zhejiang province, have been basically completed, local media reported on Feb 19.

The second phase of the project currently being carried out consists of exterior decoration, garden landscaping, roads, squares and municipal supporting facilities. Some blocks of the Luming Cultural Street are expected to be completed before the end of August.

Luming Cultural Street covers an area of 178 mu (11.86 hectares) and consists of Luming Academy, a museum, a quintessence pavilion, an art center, an international cultural exchange center, an intangible cultural heritage market, and a number of themed homestays and restaurants.

The Luming Cultural Street is expected to be entirely completed by August 2024.
