​Quzhou releases 2021 statistical bulletin

Quzhou in East China's Zhejiang province has released its statistical bulletin for national economic and social development in 2021.

In 2021, the city's GDP reached 187.56 billion yuan ($29.49 billion), an increase of 8.7 percent over the previous year calculated at comparable prices. The per capita GDP was 82,174 yuan, an increase of 8.1 percent over the previous year.

The total government revenue for 2021 was 27.21 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 19.0 percent. The revenue in the general public budget was 16.39 billion yuan, an increase of 16.3 percent over the previous year.

The added value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fisheries in 2021 was 8.93 billion yuan, an increase of 2.9 percent compared with last year. Total grain output was 553,700 metric tons, up 0.5 percent year-on-year.

The total industrial added value of 2021 was 66.38 billion yuan, up 12 percent over the previous year, while industrial output above designated size reached 249.41billion yuan, up 29.8 percent.

The value of imports and exports exceeded 49.14 billion yuan in 2021, up 36.4 percent over the past year. The top three export markets of the city are the United States, South Korea and the European Union. Exports to these three major markets accounted for 47.6 percent of the city's total.
