Jiangshan, a county-level city in Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, has rolled out an app offering agricultural machinery services, according to local media reports.

The app collects information on more than 1,400 sets of large-scale agricultural machinery and over 1,100 agricultural machinery operators registered in the city.

After farmers complete registration on the app, they can place orders for agricultural machinery according to planting scale, operation time and price intention. Nearby agricultural machinery operators can receive orders through the system.

Order services related to pesticide spraying, weeding and plowing have been offered to more than 100 farmers through the app this year alone, which has greatly speeded up local preparations for spring farming.

Recently, more than 80 sets of large and medium-sized field agricultural machines have been installed with positioning systems enabling farmers to track them and check the proceedings of the tasks via the app.
