​Quzhou ranks high nationwide in air quality

An air quality ranking of 168 cities in China for the first two months of 2022 was recently released by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, local media reported on Mar 30.

Quzhou in East China's Zhejiang province ranked fifteenth in China and third in Zhejiang province.

The city's average PM2.5 concentration was 27 micrograms per cubic meter, ranking third among 11 cities in the province.

In addition, the proportion of days with good air quality in the city's urban area reached 98.3 percent, equal with the same period in 2021 and ranking second in the province.

In February, the proportion of days with good air quality in the city's urban area reached 100 percent, the same as the same period in 2021 and ranking first in the province.

Meanwhile, the city ranked second in the province with an average PM2.5 concentration of 20 micrograms per cu m in February.
