The farm was put into operation at the end of 2021. It has 120 sheep houses and more than 20,000 sheep.

To ensure that locals can benefit from the sheep industry, the company employs more than 90 local villagers to take care of daily management.

In addition, low-income farmers in the village can adopt sheep through the company, with each being allowed to raise up to 10 sheep. The sheep houses will be provided by the town, while the company will pay farmers 200 yuan ($30.01) for each sheep they raise and other supporting parties will give an additional 200 yuan. Therefore, farmers can earn 12,000 yuan a year by raising three batches of sheep.

The company also encourages local farmers to plant anthocyanin corn, sweet sorghum and pennisetum hydridum, which the company will purchase at guaranteed prices. In addition, the company recycles stalks of rice, rape, corn and sorghum.
