An art exhibition of lettering works is currently underway at the Quzhou Cultural Venue in Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, local media reported on May 24.

More than 56 artistic lettering works are on display at the exhibition in an effort to promote modern lettering and generate more interest in the art form.

Qian Zemin, chairman of the Longyou Art Lettering Association, said that each lettering work involves more than 10 steps, including material selection, composition, cleaning and coloring.

Artistic lettering works can be used as decorative items at high-end homestays, cultural venues and other modern art spaces.
