Quzhou to build a wonderland at Liuchunhu Mountain

A wonderland integrating food, accommodation, shopping, entertainment and sports will be built atop Liuchunhu Mountain in Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, which has an altitude of 1,390.5 meters, local media reported on June 24.

The total budget for construction is about 9 billion yuan ($1.34 billion), spanning an area of about 950,000 square meters. It mainly includes an amusement park at the foot of the mountain, a ski resort on the mountain, and an area known as Dragon Valley.

About 6,000 hotel rooms, a 38,000-square-meter conference center, a 130-mu (8.67-hectare) zoo, a 10,000-sq-m indoor water park, and a 150,000-sq-m bonsai garden will be built on the mountain.

In addition, a 500-mu outdoor ski resort with eight professional slides and a 16,200 sq-m indoor ice and snow resort will be built.

In the Dragon Valley, 3,000 hotel rooms, a parking lot with  2,500 spaces and a European-style manor will be built.
