Agreements for 18 projects worth 13b yuan signed in Kecheng

Agreements for 18 projects with a total investment of about 13 billion yuan ($1.93 billion) were signed in Kecheng district, Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, on July 1, according to local media reports.

The 18 projects include 13 manufacturing projects with a total investment of 8.15 billion yuan and five service projects with an estimated annual trade value of over 4.6 billion yuan and an annual import and export value of $150 million.

The 18 projects involve the optoelectronics industry, service industry and foreign trade.

Among them, Shenzhen Baihao Electronic Technology Co Ltd planned to invest 2.28 billion yuan to reach an annual output of 1.2 million mobile phones, 5 million bluetooth headsets and 2 million display modules. And it is expected to achieve an output value of 5 billion yuan within five years after it begins operating.

The paper product renewable resource trade project invested by Quzhou Qinjian Tianxia Trade Co Ltd will settle in Hangbu town, which is expected to increase the wholesale trade value of Kecheng district by 1.8 billion yuan every year and add an additional 54 million yuan in tax revenue.

The establishment of the import and export trade project of Shanghai Wangfengrui International Trade Co Ltd is expected to increase the annual import and export value of the district by more than $150 million.
