Online retail sales in Changshan hit 1.07b yuan Jan-July

Changshan county's online retail sales reached 1.07 billion yuan ($154.34 million) from January to July, a year-on-year increase of 24.1 percent, the highest growth rate in Quzhou, according to the Changshan economy and information technology bureau.

Quzhou Guwu E-commerce Co Ltd placed more than 160 sets of fruit and vegetable vending machines throughout Quzhou, offering fresh fruits and vegetables produced by their own farms and creating an automated self-service market. In 2021, the company's sales reached more than 30 million yuan.

Since last year, the county has given corresponding financial subsidies to e-commerce parks and enterprises according to their online retail sales. This year, a total of more than 2.53 million yuan in incentives have been issued.

Yueyin (Zhejiang) E-Commerce Co Ltd based in Changshan is an e-commerce company mainly engaged in mobile phones and digital products of the Xiaomi ecological chain. The enterprise has now carried out operations on platforms such as Tmall, Taobao, JD.com and Pinduodu, with sales exceeding 100 million yuan in 2021.

"The local government offers awards according to the company's annual shipment values and sales performance, and the company has received 300,000 yuan in financial support so far," said Huang Xiaobao, general manger of the company.
