​Quzhou's market entities exceed 270,000

The total number of market entities in Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, was 279,664 as of the end of August, up 6.22 percent year-on-year.

The number of enterprises was 63,327, up 8.13 percent year-on-year, while the number of individual businesses was 212,937, an uptick of 5.98 percent year-on-year.

The top three areas in total number of registered market entities in the city were Jiangshan, Kecheng district and Longyou county, amounting to 60,800, 56,100 and 44,400, respectively.

The top three industries that Quzhou bosses are most interested in are wholesale and retail, accommodation and catering, leasing and business services, accounting for 50.71 percent, 8.21 percent and 7.49 percent of total industries, respectively.

In August, the top three new market entities were wholesale and retail, leasing and business services, residential services, repair and other services.

In August, 690 new market entities were established in Jiangshan, 667 in Kecheng district, and 573 in Longyou county, rounding out the top three.
