Fresh caviar produced by a workshop at a production and breeding base of Hangzhou Qiandao Lake Xunlong Technology Co Ltd in Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, was sealed and packed to ship to Berlin, Germany within 48 hours.

The Imperial Caviar Company based in Berlin is one of the largest caviar distributors in Europe. All the caviar products the company sells in Berlin are from the Chinese brand "Kaluga Queen Caviar" and were produced by Xunlong.

Kaluga Queen Caviar has been exported to more than 20 countries including France, Germany, Spain, the United States, and Japan. Xunlong currently accounts for about one third of the world's output.

Meanwhile, the caviar industry helps farmers generate wealth in Quzhou.

After participating in the sturgeon breeding industry, Li Yuelin, a 63-year-old villager in Gangyao village, Quzhou, now has an annual income of nearly 100,000 yuan ($14,437.95). Li Yaofu, an owner of the Fuchao Family Farm in Gangyao village, earns 300,000 to 400,000 yuan a year through large-scale farming.
