To welcome the upcoming 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival, Fenglin town in Jiangshan, a county-level city in Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, created colorful rice paddy paintings, local media reported on Sept 15.

Xu Mingxia, a grower in Fenglin town, planted 14.4 mu (0.96 hectares) of colorful rice in June to create the painting.

Paddy field paintings have now entered their best viewing period, which will last until mid-October.
