Two Quzhou-based enterprises, namely Zhejiang Chengang Xuan Paper Co Ltd and Zhejiang Shaoyongfeng Chengzheng Food Co Ltd, were selected as exhibitors for the people-to-people cultural exchange activity of the 5th China International Import Expo, local media reported on Oct 25.

On Oct 16, five boxes of products of Zhejiang Chengang Xuan Paper Co Ltd were sent to the warehouse of the 5th CIIE for unified disinfection. On Nov 2, the company will arrange the exhibition on site, said Xu Xiaojing, general manager of the company.

According to statistics from the Quzhou bureau of commerce, to date 298 Quzhou enterprises had registered to participate in the 5th CIIE and 1,008 professional buyers had been invited.

During the 3rd CIIE, Xianhe Co Ltd in Qujiang district signed a pulp purchase agreement worth 60 million yuan ($8.3 million) with UPM from Finland, and the agreement has been fully carried out.

The value of the city's transactions in the 4th CIIE was $175.34 million, while the implementation rate was 100 percent.
