Quzhou Benneng Car Industry Co Ltd received 35 million yuan ($5.03 million) in orders during its 34-day visit to European Union countries, according to the Quzhou commerce bureau.

Enterprises from Quzhou, Zhejiang province started traveling abroad to seek orders in August. Starting in November, the city has been organizing delegations to go abroad.

Haorun Medical, a foreign trade enterprise from Changshan county, has participated in four foreign exhibitions in the second half of this year, including ones in the United States, Vietnam, Germany and Thailand, and signed orders worth more than $200,000 in total. The largest order, valued at $109,000, was secured at FIME 2022, a medical equipment exhibition held in Miami, the United States.

Zhejiang Zhuoyi Industry and Trade Co Ltd from Kaihua county specializes in producing disposable medical consumables such as disposable medical rubber surgical gloves and disposable medical rubber inspection gloves. It reaped more than 5 million yuan in orders in Germany recently.

These impressive results can be attributed to flights chartered by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce in a bid to bring more business to China and offer international companies increased access to China's huge market.
