Kaihua county, Quzhou, Zhejiang province held the Low-Altitude Economy Development Conference on July 3.

During the conference, five local enterprises signed agreements with nine leading enterprises in the low-altitude economy. These partnerships will focus on various projects in intelligent manufacturing, aviation school training, application scenarios, platform development, and industrial funds.

Kaihua has unique advantages in terms of location, resources, industries, and application, making it the perfect time to seize upon new opportunities in the low-altitude economy, noted Wang Qiang, deputy director of the Kaihua transportation bureau.

Wang added that Kaihua's commitment to the low-altitude economy dates back to 2015 and it now boasts several enterprises above designated size closely related to the low-altitude economy, spanning fields such as low-altitude manufacturing and commercial applications.

Drone technology has also been adopted by the county for use in agriculture, forestry, transportation, emergency response, and law enforcement.

Kaihua's future plans for the low-altitude economy revolve around two main projects - the development of an aviation town and the implementation of aerial management applications in the national park.

On the same day, the Zhejiang Aviation Science Education Base and the Kaihua Low-Altitude Industrial School of Zhejiang Vocational and Technical College of Transportation were officially inaugurated.
