Heart of Yiwu, an urban living plaza
The Heart of Yiwu, a shopping plaza in the Xiuhu Lake Business District in downtown Yiwu, is surrounded by Gongren West Road, Beimen Street and Xinma Road.
Covering 48,000 square meters, it has floorage of 270,000 sq m, a 300-m-long leisure corridor, a 5,000-sq-m outdoor square, more than 2,100 parking lots underground.
It has about 160,000 sq m for commercial use and 80,000 sq m of rentable areas. The project was built with an investment of 2 billion yuan ($298 million).
The complex houses a shopping mall, a pedestrian street, a cultural square and a rooftop garden, and covers a wide range of businesses, such as retail, catering, leisure, entertainment, business networking, culture and performance, as well as educational training.
Nearly 300 stores have settled there, with restaurants and clothes shops accounting for 26.24 percent and 29.38 percent while other shops of children’s products, daily supplies, entertainment and a supermarket account for 44.38 percent of total.
It was China’s first county-level shopping mall to house the popular fast fashion brands, ZARA, H&M and Uniqlo.
Estee Lauder’s MAC cosmetics, France’s top cosmetics brand, Make Up For Ever, Poly Cinema, Hengdeli Watch and Clock Store, MAO Live Club, and bakery brand Tous Les Jours from South Korea have opened stores in the shopping mall.
These leading brands have settled in central Zhejiang or Yiwu for the first time, bringing one-stop high-quality shopping experience to the local people.
