Qiyi village, 6 kilometers from the center of Yiwu city, has convenient transport. In 2007, the park started to build an agricultural ecological park to introduce agricultural sightseeing. The park involves the construction of three phases at a total cost of 260 million yuan ($38 million), with the first two already completed. The completed phases were officially opened to the public on July 1, 2017. On 31 hectares, it is in four parts: a wetland ecosystem area, a green agricultural products area, a flowers and plants viewing area, and a service and reception area.
