Fenshuitang village in Chengxi sub-district, Yiwu, was included in one of the 128 national rural tourism boutique routes recently released by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China in order to promote consumption and revitalize rural areas in the summer holiday.

Fenshuitang village is a famous red tourism destination in Yiwu. The most important scenic spot in the village is Chen Wangdao's former residence. Around Spring Festival in 1920, Chen (1891-1977), a scholar and translator born in Fenshuitang, returned from Shanghai to a woodshed in the village and started translating The Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. In August 1920, the book was published and quickly sold out. Many of its readers later became Communist revolutionaries.

In order to meet the needs of locals and tourists, the village has built a shopping center with over 200 kinds of commodities from more than 30 countries, which are imported by the China-Europe freight trains.

Boasting solid infrastructure and a livable environment, the village has also made a list of the province's best rustic tourism routes recommended by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism.
