"The needles looked long, but the sensation wasn't painful. After the treatment, my shoulders feel much lighter," shared a United Arab Emirates businesswoman in Yiwu, Jinhua, Zhejiang province, after receiving acupuncture.

This moment offers a sneak peek into Jincheng community's preparations for the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival on June 10, where more than 50 foreign residents from over 10 countries delved into the captivating world of traditional Chinese medicine culture.

Colombian businesswoman Moni, who experienced discomfort in her shoulder due to prolonged periods of sitting, received a rejuvenating 30-minute shoulder and neck massage from TCM practitioner Lu Weiyan. During the massage, Lu shared valuable insights into TCM therapy with Moni.

In addition to these experiences, foreign residents engaged in the art of crafting sachets, a practice rooted in ancient Chinese customs in which wearing sachets was a way to ward off negativity and seek well-being and safety during the Dragon Boat Festival.

With a current population of 467 foreign residents representing over 50 countries, the community hosts a number of events during traditional festivals like the Dragon Boat Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival, giving expatriates the chance to immerse themselves in traditional Chinese culture.
