Photographers from 10 cities renowned for contributions to the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression (1931-45) and the War of Liberation (1946-49) gathered in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province on June 30 to capture the city's beauty with their cameras, local media reported.

These photographers were divided into seven teams. They will visit the city's five counties and two districts over the next two days to learn more about their charm, as well as their economic development, environmental protection, and profound history.

Each photographer is required to submit the best 10 of their works. These works then will be exhibited and published as an album.

The event is organized by the China Photographic Newspaper Office, as well as the Jiaxing Federation of Literary and Art Circles to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Communist Party of China.
