A total of 100 employers, including 65 private companies and 35 State-owned enterprises, hosted a job fair exclusive to differently-abled people in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province on May 12.

Rong Ai Stars Noodles, a Shaoxing-based chain restaurant who only hires people with physical or mental disabilities, received about 30 applications. The company serves local specialty Ciwu noodles and now runs four branches in Hangzhou and Shaoxing.

"We offer professional training and job opportunities to differently abled people. Our vision is to engage them to actual labor, better fit in the society, and provide for their families," said the company's HR representative surnamed He.

He added that the company will open 45 branches in Hangzhou and Zhuji, a county-level city in Shaoxing, offering more positions like couriers and packers.

According to the Zhejiang Provincial Disabled Persons' Federation, Hangzhou has established a foundation to guarantee the employment of differently-abled people. The funds are paid by employers whose percentage of disabled employees is below 1.5 percent.
