Three companies in Keqiao district, Shaoxing, East China's Zhejiang province were ranked among China's top 30 dyeing companies, according to an annual list recently released by the China Dyeing and Printing Association.

They were Zhejiang Baofang Printing and Dyeing Co Ltd, RGB Textile, as well as Zhejiang Yingfeng Technology Co Ltd. This was the third time that the three companies have been selected among the nation's top 30 printing and dyeing companies.

"We have piles of business orders to deal with, and the current orders can only be resolved two months later," said Tang Weiliang, deputy general manager of Zhejiang Baofang Printing and Dyeing Co Ltd.

Tang said that his company is now one of the largest batik fabric suppliers in Africa, and has about 30 percent of the continent's market share due to the company's low-cost and high-quality products.

Tang revealed that the cumulative investment made by Baofang over the past three years in improving its technology and updating its equipment totaled 150 million yuan ($23.55 million). These endeavors have successfully decreased the company's energy consumption by 50 percent, while its daily capacity had a 2.3 times increase.

RGB Textile generated 210 million yuan in sales revenue for the first four months of this year, a year-on-year increase of 22.7 percent.

Mo Linxiang, executive deputy general manager of the company, said that the company plans to invest 300 million yuan in its factory upgrading project, adding that they will make the assembly line smarter.

Yingfeng Technology Co Ltd was listed on the A-share board in January. Its digitalized printing and dyeing workshop, a project that had 1 billion yuan in investment, has begun operations.
