Keqiao district in Shaoxing, East China's Zhejiang province made a global presentation of itself at the delayed 2020 Yangtze River Delta Global Innovation Design Competition, held in Shanghai, on June 23.

A pavilion promoting Keqiao was unveiled to the public at the event.

Representatives detailed the cultural and tourism resources, as well as the development strategy of the district to attendees, who were also able to have an immersive and interactive experience at the pavilion.

In recent years, Keqiao has taken the initiative to involve itself in the integration of the Yangtze River Delta region. The Second Affiliated Hospital of the School of Medicine, Zhejiang University has signed an agreement to establish a branch in Keqiao. Golden Education, a famous education and training brand, also plans to set up operations in Keqiao.

The 4th World Textile Merchandising Conference will be hosted in Keqiao on Oct 26. Next year, Keqiao will host part of the events of the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022.
