A replica of the San Wei Study, a private school where Chinese literary pioneer Lu Xun studied, has been established at the Changtang campus of Shaoxing Lu Xun Primary School, local media reported on Sept 27.

The Shaoxing Lu Xun Primary School Education Group said the replica exhibits the stories and works of Lu Xun and provides entertainment areas for children to experience the "childhood fun" depicted in his works.

According to the group, the opening of the new San Wei Study is to commemorate the 140th birth anniversary of Lu Xun.

Lu Xun is the pen name of Zhou Shuren (1881-1936). His works put him in the league of leading Chinese writers that ushered Chinese literature into the modern era.
