In Shaoxing's Keqiao district, Kim Ki-yong, a South Korean entrepreneur, has found not just a home but a canvas to paint his entrepreneurial aspirations.

Residing in Keqiao for over two decades, Kim has not only adapted to the local lifestyle but has also founded Shaoxing Xinhe Leather and Plastic Craft Products Co.

The Shaoxing South Korean Chamber of Commerce now boasts over 300 active members. Regular activities include industry trend discussions, recreational sports like badminton and golf, and collective celebrations for members' business openings.

Reflecting on China's rapid progress, Kim Ki-yong marvels at Keqiao's astonishing transformation. From its humble beginnings of low-rise structures to the soaring skyscrapers that now dominate the skyline, Keqiao has undergone a remarkable metamorphosis.

With advancements in dining, healthcare, and education, life in Keqiao has become exceedingly convenient for its residents, he added.
