Shaoxing's Yuecheng district has recently opened over 50 parks and green spaces to the public, allowing more residents to enjoy a beautiful and eco-friendly lifestyle.

In an effort to bring citizens closer to nature and promote a green environment, Yuecheng district has been actively advancing its green space development.

This includes building and expanding greenways, adding amenities such as restrooms, safety monitoring, and children's play areas, and improving basic infrastructure. Additionally, the district has intensified lawn maintenance to prevent damage from recreational activities.

Among these green spaces is Yangjing Lake Park, located in Binhai New District.

Yangjing Lake Park features a lakeside greenway, leisure squares, an outdoor swimming pool, and extensive green areas, making it a popular spot for relaxation and fitness. The newly opened shared green space, located on the southern side of the park, covers approximately 15,000 square meters. It is equipped with restrooms, trash bins, temporary sales points, and safety monitoring facilities.

"We will tailor the shared content to the characteristics of each park. Our goal is to create high-quality, vibrant green spaces for everyone to enjoy," said Xu Bo, director of the Yuecheng district landscaping management service center.

With these developments, Shaoxing continues to enhance the quality of life for its residents by providing accessible and well-maintained green spaces, fostering a stronger connection between people and nature.
