Standing atop Mamu Mountain in western Dinghai distrct, Zhoushan and surrounded by lush green grass and towering wind turbines, Mr. Wang from Ningbo couldn't help but marvel, "Zhoushan people are truly ingenious. What was once a mere construction path for wind power projects has now become a popular tourist destination."

As Wang gazed at the breathtaking scenery, the setting sun cast a beautiful glow over the Zhoushan-Daishan Bridge, which stretched out across the tranquil sea. The picturesque view blended nature with human innovation.

This windmill campsite has gained widespread popularity since May Day this year. Originally a secluded construction path for wind power projects, it has quickly transformed into a sought-after spot for tourists and photographers, thanks to thoughtful planning and development.

Mamu Mountain features campsites numbered from 1 to 16, linked by winding asphalt roads. The paths, originally meant for wind power project construction, have been cleverly integrated into the scenic landscape.

By leveraging the abundant wind resources of the island’s western mountains, Dinghai has expanded its clean energy industry. The thoughtful enhancement of infrastructure and the creative use of local resources have turned the windmill campsite into a new attraction along the East Sea.
