The third "Zhoushan Future" Talent Week began on July 12. This seven-day event, dedicated to attracting, retaining, and nurturing talent, boasts the highest level of city-wide recognition for outstanding individuals.

This year's talent week includes one launch event, six specialized activities, and over 80 talent-focused events organized by various local departments.

Zhoushan is currently driving the high-quality development of its marine economy, accelerating the creation of an optimal talent service ecosystem. It aims to become a vast land of opportunities, a place where talent can realize their dreams and set sail on new ventures.

At the launch ceremony, Zhoushan introduced the innovative "Service Calculator" for talent and new support measures for maritime professionals. The event also opened registration for the 6th China (Zhejiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone Marine Economy International Young Scholars Forum. Additionally, six skilled talents received "Common Prosperity Loans" and six rural vocational managers were awarded certificates.

Over the past five years, Zhoushan has attracted and nurtured 431 high-level talents, with an annual growth rate exceeding 20 percent. The city has welcomed 923 PhDs and 81,800 university graduates, bringing the total number of skilled workers in the city to 239,000.
