East China's Fujian province opened the fifth session of the 12th Fujian Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) on Jan 21 and the sixth session of the 13th Fujian Provincial People's Congress on Jan 22 in Fuzhou, capital of the province.

The special is designed to review the coastal province's overall development and accomplishments during recent years and discuss hot topics during the sessions of 12th CPPCC Fujian Provincial Committee and the 13th Fujian Provincial People's Congress.
