Global intangible cultural heritage showcases diversity

The third Maritime Silk Road Intangible Culture Heritage Exhibition will be held in Quanzhou from Dec 9 to 12.

Titled "Thousand-Year Silk Road and Brilliant Intangible Cultural Heritage" and featuring the themes of peace, harmony, cooperation and sharing, the exhibition focuses on representative intangible cultural heritage works of countries and regions along the Maritime Silk Road as well as representative intangible cultural heritage items of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities along the Silk Road and the Maritime Silk Road in China and Fujian province. 

The exhibition aims to showcase the spirit of craftsmanship and the artistic creations of inheritors of cultural heritage. By putting diverse cultures from different countries on the same stage, the exhibition will help to bring together different civilizations, nationalities, and religions.

The exhibition consists of three exhibition areas: the Maritime Silk Road international intangible cultural heritage exhibition, intangible cultural heritage exhibition of China's provinces and cities along Silk Road and Fujian's intangible heritage exhibition. It will feature 20 intangible cultural heritage items from 14 countries, including Italy, Romania, and Malaysia.
