A one-month trial run of the 2023 Quanzhou-Yokohama-Gwangju Youth Art Exhibition will commence at the Quanzhou Museum on Dec 9 as part of the 5th Maritime Silk Road International Arts Festival. Representatives from China, Japan, and South Korea will be present on the opening day.

The exhibition showcases nearly 50 artworks created by teenagers from China, Japan, and South Korea, depicting their aspirations for a brighter future.

During the exhibition, a limited quantity of souvenir postcards will be issued. Visitors can reserve them for free on the Quanzhou Culture Cloud Platform.

Quanzhou is hosting the exhibition in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the designation of Quanzhou, Yokohama, and Gwangju as the joint Culture Cities of East Asia in 2013, aiming to foster a stronger sense of multiculturalism among people in China, Japan, and South Korea, particularly among the youth, and to promote traditional culture.
