On Jan 16, a vibrant display of traditional Chinese folk performances lit up the Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Spring Scenic Area during the "Celebrating Our Festival: Spring Joy" cultural event in Dunhuang, Gansu province.
Folk performance troupes from various townships across Dunhuang presented a spectacular showcase of intangible cultural heritage, featuring traditional gong and drum ensembles, dragon dances, lion dances, and yangko folk dances. The centuries-old local traditions, drew large crowds of visitors.
