Fourth session of 13th Gansu Provincial Committee of CPPCC opens in Lanzhou
The fourth session of the 13th Gansu Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) opened in Lanzhou, Gansu province, at 9:00 am on Jan 26. Convened just as the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25) ends and the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026–2030) begins, the session marks an important meeting for the provincial CPPCC in its efforts to fulfill its new goals, aiming to build consensus and pool wisdom for promoting high-quality development.
Attending the session, members of the 13th Gansu Provincial Committee of the CPPCC gathered amid high expectations and the trust of people across the province. Bringing insights from in-depth grassroots research and a commitment to development, they focused on key issues such as environmental protection, the improvement of people's livelihoods, industrial upgrading, and the integration of science and education.
