The 32nd China Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair opened on July 9 in Lanzhou, Gansu province, with business representatives from more than 30 countries and regions gathering to explore cooperation opportunities.

The fair features a wide range of products from around the world, including skincare products from South Korea and coffee from Malaysia. Smart robotic dogs and robots are also on display, adding a technological flair to the exhibition.

South Korea and Pakistan serve as guest countries of honor at this year's event. Their national exhibition pavilions held opening ceremonies and a series of trade and investment exchange activities on July 9.

The Pakistan Pavilion brings together more than 20 leading companies and 50 local brands, showcasing products and industries such as food and beverages, textiles, minerals, handicrafts, jewelry, leather goods, surgical instruments, and sporting goods.

South Korean Ambassador to China Roh Jae-heon highlighted Gansu's strengths in wind power, solar energy, mineral resources, nonferrous metals, equipment manufacturing, and biomedicine. He noted that South Korea's advanced technology and experience in manufacturing, battery materials, medical devices, and healthcare complement Gansu's industries, potentially driving new economic growth through cooperation.

The fair features five exhibition zones spanning Silk Road international cooperation, regional exchanges, key industries, consumer goods and trade products, and Gansu specialties, with more than 1,900 companies showcasing their products.
